win 7 hanging with black screen, no tdx.sys load

two drivers do not load at start up and causes windows not to load after updating Bios in raid system. The tdx.sys and serial.sys do not load. I just get a black screen in windows. The cursor can be moved for a short while then it freezes. I have done scannow and repair a dozen times with no results. I have also done chkdsk and all of these come back ok. it all started when I updated the bios while in windows. I rebuilt the SYM, system and other reg files which allowed it to boot to windows, but it hangs while loading. I have tried safemodes etc. I can get to a command prompt through the install disc and the c: drive shows all of the directories. Is the tdx.sys not loading the problem?
