Win 7 memory leak?

Wasnt sure what section to post this under exactly, but here was an event log message that i had ran across.

Event 11, RPC (Microsoft-Windows-RPC-Events)

Possible Memory Leak. Application ("taskhost.exe") (PID: 3560) has passed a non-NULL pointer to RPC for an [out] parameter marked [allocate(all_nodes)]. [allocate(all_nodes)] parameters are always reallocated; if the original pointer contained the address of valid memory, that memory will be leaked. The call originated on the interface with UUID ({12345778-1234-abcd-ef00-0123456789ac}), Method number (40). User Action: Contact your application vendor for an updated version of the application.

I'm getting the same event cropping up in event viewer, along with periodic freezes.
They occur about 5-10 minutes after booting, and sometimes the system recovers for a few minutes or so; other times not.

No not Microsoft. Well not taskhost.exe itself, it just runs other DLLs which third-parties are part of. One of those DLLs is what would be causing any memory leaks.

Taskhost.exe is the process which controls all DLL based services.

If in some case, you see errors regarding taskhost.exe, then please note that the root cause of these errors will be due to an issue in some DLL.

On a Dutch forum i found following links towards solutions in memory leaks Win7.
Tha article discribes the problem and says Microsoft will solve the mem. leak in SP1. This pack will be offered sooner as origanaly planned, probably Q3 2010.

The original poster offers these solutions here (again, i did not try these since i do not have the problem, so it's your choice alone to try these solutions)

okay, so after keeping an eye on taskmanager for a while I've found the cause of my problem.

It seems that the SearchProtocolHost.exe service will start, and instantly start sucking up RAM. It will use all of my 4GB in less than 30 seconds.
Watching this process start, I promptly ended the task.
The SearchFilterHost.exe process then started, and proceeded to do the same thing.

After looking at these events in event viewer I observed the following (stating from top and working down):

Windows (2928) Windows: The database engine has begun replaying logfile C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows\MSS.log.

Windows (2928) Windows: The database engine has successfully completed recovery steps.

The Windows Search Service started.

The Software Protection service is starting.

The Windows Security Center Service has started.

(there is a bunch of info under this that i've excluded, just in case it had keys etc. in it )

Performance counters for the WmiApRpl (WmiApRpl) service were removed successfully. The Record Data contains the new values of the system Last Counter and Last Help registry entries.

Performance counters for the WmiApRpl (WmiApRpl) service were loaded successfully. The Record Data in the data section contains the new index values assigned to this service.

The Software Protection service has stopped.

Performance counters for the WmiApRpl (WmiApRpl) service were removed successfully. The Record Data contains the new values of the system Last Counter and Last Help registry entries.

The Windows Search service stopped the Protocol Host process because it was consuming too many resources. A new Protocol Host process will be started. No user action is required.

I'm not sure if all of these are relevant or not, but the last few seem to be.
Not sure how to fix this issue (maybe just disable the services), but i'll talk to MS support if I can't resolve the problem here.
