I currently have Win7ProX64 installed on a Samsung 850-250 (Model Mz 75E20) SSD. This installation was done12-16-15.
I would like to do a Clean/Install of Win7x64Pro on this same SSD but, I'm not clear on how to do this. It's my first time to do this using a SSD. In this past when doing this on the old platter HDD I would run the "Write Zeros" Utility to ensure all data was wiped.(this was after making back-ups of all files, etc I wanted to save).A bit overkill I know I realize this is not something I can/should do on an SSD.
How do I proceed for this SSD (Just a normal win7 Clean Install Using My Original MS win7x64CD (or is there an ISO that will work better?)Do I need to Reformat the SSD or just overwrite the SSD?
The last ISO of Win 7 Pro X64 w/SP1 I downloaded from ms on 11-1-14. Do I need A more current Version? Is there a Download that would include more Updated Windows Updates( or some method that is faster than the individual download of MSupdates?

With the M$ ISO that you have got, there are a couple of things that you can do.
You can use the ISO that you have got and integrate all the updates into it, then you can just create a new ISO for installation. There are two options available do this, one is a utility called 7UPDATER, written and created by SIW2, and the other is to use DISM++. Both these offline options are discussed here >>> Update your Win 7 installation media.
You could also install the ISO that you have got and then update it online using DISM++. By online, I mean on the live system.

- Backup all your data on another disk
- It's very important that you detach ALL other disks (power or SATA cable).
For the installation, boot from the Win 7 installation disk, go to install - advanced - delete all partitions - create new - choose the big NTFS partition to install on.
Megahertz07 Thank you very much for your comment I think I'll give this suggestion a go. It's so similar to the method I've used many times before. My confidence & former skills are a bit diminished after a stroke I had a couple years ago & while Paul's suggestions above are excellent, I feel more comfortable giving yours a go.
