Hello and thank you for the help with my problem.

I am going nuts over here trying to figure out why I am getting random BSOD. I ran Memetest64 for 10 passes with no errors. My computer is free of dust, and I removed any external connections (Battery Backup, external backup drive, etc). I uninstalled Avast, ran spyware and malware programs. It's all clean.

Every few days, I'll get a random BSOD. The last one that recorded a dump file was on 04/25. However tonight when I got my most recent BSOD, the screen froze at 'Initializing Disk For Crash Dump'.

I use my computer mainly for my online audio webcast a few nights a week. I haven't added anything new to the computer, so these sudden BSOD baffles me.

I downloaded the SF tool and uploaded the zip file here. I would really appreciate any help you can give so I can try and fix this problem. And anything I can do to return the favor of your help, just ask. Thank you!

Anthony

The is only one dump and it blames emupia2k.sys which seems to be a creative product Driver Reference Table - emupia2k.sys

Try finding a new driver.

Thank you Sgt. Much appreciated.

I remove everything Creative, uninstalled the soundcard, deleted the drivers and then reinstalled it from the manufacturer's site. So far no BSOD. I'll run it for a few days and see what happenes. But so far, so good.

Thanks again!
