Anyone know how to Defrag the system files? I realise they are in use. I tried closing out all running programs with Task Manager but, Norton & another program wont close. Can I Defrag at bootup to Defrag the System files? Anyone have this problem? Thanks!

Maybe a dumb question, but won't the on board defrag work? If not, then what is the difference between "system files", and files that the on board defrag program can defrag??

No it won't Dbone. They have a PageDefrag for 32 bit but, I have 64 bit as your system. My system is the same as yours. I guess its not hurting anything or Microsoft would come up with a fix for this.
