Win 7 Updates Solved

After trying many many different things I finally came across this site and within a short time my Win 7 was completely updated. I followed the instructions a week ago and reset updates from "never check for updates" to check but let me choose and it has done just that. I received a few updates automatically the other day and it worked just like it should. Someone may want to make this site a sticky because it worked flawlessly for me and I had not been able to get updates for months. One thing I did do was save all the updates as I clicked on them instead of using the stand alone, that was still giving me trouble.

I tried all that other crap and hours upon hours of trying to make it work. I'll just delete my post since it apparently wasn't worthwhile.

It's just been known since May 2016 on SevenForums is all
Simplifying updates for Windows 7 and 8.1

The only somewhat new item is KB3172605 with a working update client in it but that was released in July or August 2016 I believe.
