I have a dual boot system, one hd is vista 32 bit, and the other h.d. is Win 7
I CANT get Win 7 to stay asleep. It will go to sleep and stay like that for about three seconds and then reboot.
Any suggestions.

I just use F12 boot sequence in the BIOS to select which OS (hard drive) to boot from
The Vista install will go to sleep- and stay asleep.
If I disconnect the Vista drive and just boot from Win 7 it still wont stay asleep.

You need to go into advanced power options and change the setting for USB, found here Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings.

You could also configure your network conection not to wake the computer to see if that helps as well

Unticking " allow this device to wake the computer " worked.
The USB didnt make any difference.

THANK YOU :)
