Yes I did it exactly the way GOLDEN said and after that several times upon right clicking on it as an Administrator, it displays some messages and Windows automatically gets Shut Down..And I get the Msg from Firefox& IE that The web page caanot be opened when i m tryi to get connected to the Internet....

wats te root cause of this problem, i am wondering...?

Check your browser proxy settings and clear it all,

hmm what else? dns has been flushed ...

try to ping google.com if you can reach it,.

post back for the results

changed the settings for firefox ..it is WORKI !!!!!!!!

changed the settings for Explorer...Stilll te same response.

Finally !!!!!

A HUGE THANKYOU To all who have helped me during the past 5 days regarding my net problem ..especially to GOLDEN who patiently replied whenevr there was a need ..and to ALL OTHERS including JAcee....

evrything Working Fine with both IE & Firefox NOW !!!!!! ( edited 1 min back)

And I am Happy to note that Explorer ver 9 Imedtly Started WORKING after followi the steps outlin there !!!!

Hi JACEE I have Bookmarked these Sites ..Thankyou..all are very vry informative.

everythg is worki out perfectly for me as of now..

I have Scanned my System with MALware, Superantispyware and HITman Prof 3.5 and also with my antivirus AVG version 8.5.499

Planni to do a periodic Checkup for my system with all the above 4 atleast ONCE iEvery Week.....Hope that will be fine...
