Win7 7100 RC + Punkbuster?

Does anyone know if the New RC fixed the punkbuster problem?

I just want to see if anyone tried this before I try..

so far cod 4 still doesnt work, I dont know about the battlefields but im sure they dont also.

Good news is that cod 5 works, battlefield heroes demo works and quake live works

Battlefield 2 and 2142

Battlefield 2 and 2142 have problems with the punkbuster install on the Windows 7 RC. Punkbuster install was ok on BETA. After I installed COD WAW and copy pb folders into BF2 and BF2142 From my Vista install they
work like they did in windows 7 Beta, but it only works with some of the servers with punkbuster. =EAUK= Wake Island is one that works and has
punkbuster turn on. If servers are setup right punkbuster will not kick.
My main point is that what ever microsoft change in the RC of Win 7
change the way BF2 and BF2142 install punkbuster. COD WAW has a newer Punkbuster installer that BF2 and BF2142. So maybe the windows
installer changed for the worst.

i cant even get 2142 to install on win7 rc 7100. it gets stuck when trying to install titan_tutorial.bik and gives an error saying it failed to install successfully and start from the beginning. i have tried to install in compatibility modes and with admin. am i doing something wrong?

I have no problems with PB. You need to get pbsetup (3.4) and add your games, and update them. I play lots of games like COD4,5,FEAR,Crysis etc all use PB no problems here.
