Hi guys,
I'm experiencing lots of BSoDs
when the Wi-Fi connection is heavily loaded.
I saw NETIO.SYS stated on many BSoDs, but nothing more specific.
I got one ASUS RT10-N set up as an access point and switch. The laptop is connected via 150Mbps 802.11n Wi-Fi link (one static IP) and my desktop box is connected via 100Mbps Cat.5e UTP cable (a good one, though) to the same router.
The box is with another static IP (from the same network).
Well, I went through the standard procedure to analyze the crash dump with WinDbg, but here comes one of the surprises. To be specific - there's no crash dump!!!
I tried various directories and what not, alas no crash dump! I also tried the option with no restart, still nothing.
Only once I managed to record ~500MB memory dump, which I cannot get rid of. 'You have no permission to open this file', OMG! I'm logged as admin.
So, first - how to record the crash dump (or why Win does not)?
Sorry for the mixed up bloat, but I'm kind of frustrated and can't get my mind to one piece right now.:mad2:
Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks!
