Solved Win7 doesn't start: shows error 0xc000000f

Hi Jacee, I already have a working USB like that. I just wanted to know if it can be compared with an actual disk replacement using the inside ATA connection. Thanks anyway :)

Roboticarm: Running Ubuntu from my USB works flawless. (With the HD being disconnected) Boots up in less than a minute and works very fast.

Now I would suggest you to first replace the cables that connect your HD to get to know if they are bad before you replace your HD.

Take the HD to one of your mates and test it on his/her system, first without your cable and then with your cable.

If the HD works fine without your cable, then the cable is to be blamed, otherwise, it's certainly the HD.
