Just built my own system:
Motherboard: GigaByte GA-F2A88XN-WIFI
HDD: Samsung 840 Pro Series, 128GB
CPU: AMD A6 6400K Dual Core, 3.9GHz
Optical: LG M-Disc WH16NS40 16x Blu-Ray Burner
Memory: Kingston 2x4GB HyperX DIMM DDR3-1333

I have my Win7 Installer on a 8GB USB flash drive. I've used this installer for my laptop and my desktop without problems before.

When I boot from the flash installer, I begin the process of installing. The Installer stops, though, giving a message about needing drivers for the CD/DVD drive. I went to LG's website and cannot find any drivers there. I found a firmware update app, but that's for after OS installation.

I unplugged the SATA cable from the CD drive, then booted again: the computer just sits there and never starts up.

I plugged it back in, rebooted, and waited until the installer began to boot up. Then I unplugged the CD drive. The installer must have noticed the drive as it still asked for the driver.

Anyone have any ideas?
