Hi,

I have a new windows 7 laptop (home premuim x86). I can connect to my wifi as normal and set the connection to Auto connect when network is in range.

The problem is soon as i reboot the laptop it looses the setting so i have to go back into the settings for the wifi connection and re-tick the option to connect to the wifi automatically again. this happens everytime i restart the computer.

Any ideas greatly appreciated?

Regards

dave

Hi David201, and welcome to SF. Please fill out your system specs in more detail (e.g., what model Lenovo).

Do you have a third party firewall? Do you have any third party apps that might interfere with the wireless nic? See if the wireless adapter has management tools / applications and, if so, disable them.

Glad to here you got everything sorted. It is always a good idea to look into what third-party software is installed on a new computer and remove anything you don't want.
