Hello everyone. I've been encountering this issue with the March 2017 Security Update for x64 (KB4012215) since about the 15th when it first started trying to install, and it is the only update that refuses to install. Once I first got this error, I attempted to troubleshoot it myself through several forum posts, so let me tell you what I've tried.
I tried running a "restart" .bat file that restarted the Windows Update software. No results.
I've manually installed the update, and it failed installation. No results.
I've tried both the installed troubleshooter and the one you can get from the Microsoft site. No results.
The only solution people have been saying has been working is a repair install of the OS, and I want to make sure there is absolutely nothing else I can try before then. Thanks again.
