Before Win7, the PC would show up as a network connection on my Mac, now it doesn't, which makes syncing my iTunes annoying - all the music is store on the PC.

How can I get Win7 to allow the PC to show up on the Mac...Mac settings haven't changed, PC's have, so I assume that's the machine at error.

Mac shows up fine on the Windows machine.

PC on Win7
Mac OSX, current update.

You have to set up your Win7 machine to share via a Workgroup like it has in the past, not a Homegroup.

Windows 7 and Mac OS X Sharing

If I could find "Local Security Policy" in my Administration Tools I would try that, but it's not there.

Edit, did a search on the PC for secpol, came across two files, both, when opened, open Local Security Policy but there's a big red thing with a cross in it saying "MMC could not create the snap-in".

Confused.
