Solved Win7 Pro crashes during Gameplay

It's bottom of the 9th, down a run and got the bases loaded... The pitcher winds up, and Bzzzzzzzzz, Static on the screen, a blackout? No my machine just blue-screened again! :mad: I've tried update the driver I could think of (video, sound,etc..) no luck.. On a restart I get the following problem details:

Hello and welcome to the forum robbo.

This dmp points to a hardware problem of some sort. Hard to say exactly what piece of hardware is the problem but it can also be another type of problem.

Let me dig up the info on the 0x124 dmp's. Here is the info on tracking down the 0x124 problems in the link below.

With the i7, if you are overclocking and sometimes even if you aren't the 0x124 error= you need to either add more Cpu vcore or add more to Cpu Vtt voltage. This has been known to fix this error on occasion but there can be many other causes.

Thanks for the quick reply chev65. I've not yet temped to overdrive any components in the system. The sensors in the CPU cores indicate 41-44C temps, and overall 34C temp.. which i'm assuming is normal.. I'll try your suggestions on the vtt and will post the results. Any suggestions on how much to increase it by?
 
Only increase those voltages by the smallest amount possible in order to gain stablity. This is only a guess because sometimes these boards require a bit more voltage just to run with stock settings. I'd only go one increment at a time and test it out.

It's a feel sorta deal and difficult to judge the exact amount required from here. If you really want to nail it down I would do some stablity testing to make sure. I like Prime 95 blend test myself.

Also go down that check list and make sure everything is in order. Report back with results, if more crashing occurs you should save the dmp's so we can look for a pattern.
