I went to view more information about the disk management write-caching settings and noticed that something has gone wrong. I've viewed it before with no probs but that was a long time ago. Here's a pic of the issue. I just noticed it so I don't know when it started or what might have caused it. Anyone ever run into this issue?

Update:
Strange. I was just in another help file and all was fine. So far it seems it's only the help for the disk cache settings that's not showing correctly.

Hello Scenarious, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if running a sfc /scannow command to see if it may just be a corrupted system file that it may be able to fix.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Thank you very much for the advice Shawn. That tool will surely come in handy in the future. Unfortunately, it didn't fix the problem. It's not like it's a major problem, but it would be nice to get it rectified.

By the way, nice avatar! Did you model that yourself by chance? I was hoping to render out one of my own soon. Just need to find the time.

I had just found the avatar image somewhere out on the net. :)

I'm not sure what else to suggest on this issue. I'll do some more research on it and post back if I can find something on this. Hopefully I may find something on it, or someone may know and post a solution soon.

Well, thank you for your help. I too have looked into it as much as possible. Don't trouble too much to find a solution for me Shawn, like I say, it's just the one so I am not losing sleep over it.

Great find on the avatar. I found mine on the internet as well. I will use Softimage to whip up one of my own some day.

Solved. Ended up formatting and reinstalling Windows 7. Didn't reinstall just because of this issue, but because a few things broke that I could not find fixes for. Thank you for the assistance I did get however.
