Window 7 crash during games

Hi, I built my own gaming computer and after about 6 months i didnt use it. Then i finally came back and it didnt work. Every time I play a game like Arma 2 or Battlefield 2 it would freeze and lock up every 5-10 and the only way to get out of the freeze was to force shut off.
