window 8.1 64 bit at super slow speed

Recently my new computer acer v5-552g suddenly when super slow when I on it .opening a program might take 5 minutes and keep hanging.it is so slow and laggy till I couldnt use control panel and stuffs.any advice and help???

Hello and welcome jjw mate you would be far better off posting a thread in the 8 forum - it is a sister forum to this one and loads of members here are members there.

As for your problem again better posted in that forum but sounds like a filing system or malware problem to me.
