window labels

On one of my client machines, all open apps, none of them show any words in the taskbar, only the icons. I'm sure it's just a setting somewhere, but I don't know where. Anyone know it?

Hi dukeorurl,

The setting you are looking for is in Taskbar Properties,

Right Click the taskbar, and click Properties,
Under Taskbar Labels, select either "Combine When Taskbar is full" to go back to default Vista/XP behavior, or "Never Combine"
