window pages not loading in full mode

Ever since I got this new computer using windows 7, most of the time, the pages only load 3/4 of the way and I've tried numerous things to make them load full. I have to constantly either drag the rest of the window down or hit the icon on top of the page to make the page fill the screen. I switched over to firefox for awhile and didn't have that problem but I don't care for firefox all that much as there are certain things that it doesn't do like internet explorer.
