please can someone help me? I am new to windows 7 and I an being driven mad while surfing the net by windows automatically selecting whatever my cursor rests on for a few seconds, the page automatically scrolling up/down, the size of the page changing and other crazy stuff. How can I turn it off or stop it from doing this stuff?

Glad that it worked. The second solution was to adjust mouse setting. Enjoy your Windows 7

Go to control panel and go to mouse adjust settings. I think the rest is self explanatory. Sorry that you are still having problems, but gave me a change to use the second piece of information that I had.

If my advice does not solve the problem, start a new thread. I marked this as closed, when you said problem sovled. In fairness to yourself, you will get many more answers, if you post in a new thread.
