Windows 7 BSOD after few minutes of use STOP error 0x000000F4

I have an Asus A73SV running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. It was working fine for at least a year. About 2 weeks ago, I started getting Disc I/O errors (0xc00000e) after using my laptop for a while. Starting last week, I was getting BSOD after about five minutes of use. Now, by the time startup programs are loaded, windows crashes. It gives STOP error 0X000000F4 and fails a memory dump with error 0XC0000010. When I load into safe mode or any other OS, I do not get this error. If any other information is needed, I will provide it.

Please complete these steps:

Based on the bugchecks, I would recommend you follow and complete the steps given below:

1. If you are overclocking any hardware, please stop. Reset any changed values back to default and reset/clear CMOS: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS. Uninstall any overclocking tool as these can also be a reason of blue screens.

2. Uninstall your current antivirus software. It can be a cause of BSOD very often. Please remove it with its removal tool and use Microsoft Security Essentials in its place. Malwarebytes is a great combination with it. Go through this thread for more info.

3. Run Disk Check with both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors. Post back your logs for the checks after finding them using http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/96938-check-disk-chkdsk-read-event-viewer-log.html

4. Run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html to check windows for integrity violations. Run it up to three times to fix all errors. Post back if it continues to show errors after a fourth run or if the first run comes back with no integrity violations.

5. Make scans with Kaspersky TDSskiller and ESET Online scanner.

6. Perform a Clean Start up, this will help avoid any problematic applications from bugging the system.

7. Use Revo Uninstaller Free to uninstall stubborn software. Opt for Advanced Mode and uninstall the software, delete the leftover registry entries.

8. Use Crystal Disk Info to upload a screenshot of your Hard Drives (s). Test your Hard Drives (s) running a Hard Drive Diag.

9. Test and Diagnose RAM issues with http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html. Pay close attention to Part 3 of the tutorial "If you have errors" Take the test for at least 7-10 passes. It may take up to 22 passes to find problems. Make sure to run it once after the system has been on for a few hours and is warm, and then also run it again when the system has been off for a few hours and is cold.

10. Monitor hardware temperature for overheating issues with system monitoring software like Speccy or HWMonitor. Upload a screen shot of the Summary tab as well:

• Piriform - Speccy
• CPUID - HWMonitor

When getting the BSOD, it says dump fail with error code 0XC0000010. Does this have anything to do with it? I dont want to try everything blindly...

Go to Option Two, Point 2. Download the .reg file and merge it in registry by double clicking it.

Now wait for another BSOD. When it occurred, search the .dmp files manually in the default path: C:\Windows\Minidump or %SystemRoot%\Minidump. See if the crash dump is recorded or not (hopefully it will be recorded).Post it following the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions.

Well this might not be the right place to post this, but now I am getting a Disc IO error after about an hour of use.
It goes a little something like this:

[APP.exe application error]
The instruction at BLABLABLA referenced memory at BLABLABLA. The required data was not placed because of a disc IO error 0xc000000e
Press OK to terminate the app.

Ill try to take a pic but I cant take a screenshot cause it crashes. Pretty much the screen goes blank except for the background and if I try Ctrl+Alt+Del, It gives an error saying it couldnt display the Ctrl+Alt+Del menu.

Test you HDD using Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows.

If it passes, Get rid of intel rapid storage. First uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features. Then Uninstall the driver from device manager.

1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
2. It will open the "computer management" window.
3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
4. Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
5. Select one Intel device item under it, right click, uninstall.
6. Continue the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
7. Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.

Ok, so I left my laptop on overnight and in the morning I had a bsod screen waiting for me. As I have said many times by now, the memory dump FAILS with error code 0XC0000010. Anyways, I need this pc to be fixed in two days because I NEED to play bf4 when it comes out. Plz, any help asap will be helpful. Sorry, but were gonna need to work with no crash dumps, unless you can find a way around it. Last resort; ill reinstall windows on a new partition. And just so you know, windows now takes about an hour to startup, and i've noticed google chrome hasn't been working. (So im stuck with IE )

Should I do quick or extended scan for Windows Data Lifeguard Diagnostics.

Well I canceled the extended scan about 5% in (Dont ask why) and it said the scan failed there were bad sectors...

HDDs with bad sectors are enough cause for a stop 0xF4.

Be patient.

Right click on the HDD on explorer window, and select "properties" in the context menu.

Now .... Disk Properties > Tools > Check now.

In the Check Disk Dialog box, Check the option "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors".

Does it change anything? If yes, you are lucky. If no, replace the HDD.

First off, nice theme.
Second, will it work if I put the hard drive in another laptop and run the test from there? Its been over three hours and windows still hasn't loaded.

If you put the system HDD to another laptop, it may work but windows will not perform perfectly due to driver mismatch.
