"What's going on" and the only thing pertinent here is the issue that I have described. I don't see how the fact that I have posted on another forum has any relevance to the solutions that I receive on this forum.
I posted the issue on both forums since I am a newbie to either site and I wasn't sure which one would be more helpful/concise in addressing the solution.
So far, I have posted my steps identically on both sites so that perhaps others having the same problem could benefit from the possible solution. My resolution of the safe boot issue wasn't a result of input from either forum. I reached that solution via trial and error and posted it diligently on both forums so that the forum helpers are updated.
If I receive divergent opinions, and one opinion proves to be the more correct of the two, I will post it on both sites.
Your one-line "expose" is incendiary to say the least and I'm not sure what purpose it achieves other than insinuating at some amorphous impropriety on my part. You are the one digressing from the issue at hand. Please be more thoughtful in the future.
