Solved Windows 7 BSOD on a daily basis, unsure of actual problem

So I've had this HP G62 Notebook for about 3 years. It was a gift from my mother who bought it off of a friend (a good one who had no use for it). For a while, it ran fine and I could definitely accept the fact that it wasn't that great of a PC and I had neglected to actually buy another battery for it despite the fact that it had no battery in the first place. Now, I'm getting off-topic; starting about 3 months ago, my PC began to randomly BSoD for apparently no discernible reason (occasionally it would overheat, but I don't know if that's the issue). It started off rather infrequently, like every couple of weeks, and now it just bluescreens on a daily basis. Anyway, it doesn't have a battery and I keep it on "life support" all the time even though it's a laptop. I'm okay with computers, but with the more technical stuff I find myself lost, so I really have no idea what's causing this, and I would really appreciate some help. I've included the .zip in this message. Thanks in advance.

My computer actually crashed again an hour after I made this post.

Here's what the BSoD screen read:

The first thing to do is update Windows 7 fully - you are missing a significant number of updates. If you still get BSOD's after Windows is fully updated, rerun the tool and post a new .zip file in your next reply.

Alright, I think things are running more stable now. Computer hasn't crashed once since I installed updates (I had been missing Service Pack 1 for a good while now because it never installed correctly before). I really appreciate your help. Thanks! :)
