windows 7 cannot connect to printer error 0x000003e3

Hi

New on here so be kind !!!!

My desktop runs win7. Just bought a netbook running Win 7 starter. Set up the home group and file sharing is fine. But when I try to print from the netbook using the HP Laserjet P1005 attached to the desktop I get as far as a message saying windows is looking for a driver then I get the error "windows cannot connect to printer error 0x000003e3".

Any help would be great.

Are both computers the same OS bit? 32 bit or 64 bit?

hello. i just want to jump in as i have the identical problem with the same printer. running windows 7 but 64 bit in my case. i have tried the latest software updates etc.
