Solved Windows 7 doesn't Detect Wireless Adaptor

I have just installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit at my laptop and I tried to connect to my wireless network....

I went to the Control Panel and I saw the Connection Adaptors and only the Ethernet Adaptor was shown...

I have installed the Appropriate Drivers and it wasn't there again!



Help Please!

My laptop is a Lenovo G555 and the Wireless adapter is Atheros something.....


I don't remember excactly the name....

Did you download and install the Atheros Wireless Lan Driver v 8.0.0.279 from here?:
Lenovo Ideapad Support & downloads - Drivers & Downloads

If you did and that didn't work then read and try this:

There could be a bad patch of Atheros drivers out there.

Oh! Thank you! I had downloaded the latest version of the driver before that didn't work... Now I downloaded the prevous one and WORKED!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
