Sure am glad that we are able to help. Greg has given you some excelllent advice. He is a real experienced pro in this area.

Now as to your virus question.

My recommendation follows. My recommendation is considered draconian by some experts, but, the procedure has never failed me.

1. Download MalwareBytes. Malwarebytes
2. Disconnect from the Internet.
3. Disable your present antivirus software and firewall.
4. Remove your present antivirus software and firewall.
5. Install and run the MalwareBytes Quick Scan (remove any bad guys). 3min 29secs on my laptop.
6. Reconnect to Internet.
7. Update MalwareBytes.
8. Run malwarebytes quick scan again.(remove any bad guys). 3min 38secs on my laptop.
9. Run MalwareBytes full scan. 16min 8secs on my laptop. With large,full disk ~2hours.
A. Disable your present antivirus software and firewall
B. Remove your present antivirus software
C. Download Microsoft Security Essentials.

D. Run Microsoft Security Essentials. Quick Scan - ~8 min on my laptop.
E. Run Microsoft Security Essentials. Full Scan - ~ 1hr 50 min on my laptop.
Now I advise you to uninstall MalwareBytes and only install again when and if you need it.
Why?, you ask. Leaving MalwareBytes installed slowed my system. AutoRuns showed MalwareBytes processes running even after exiting from MalwareBytes.

Reinsert your Product Key at activation link at Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System

Report back on result, and:
1) How is the performance compared to before?
2) Will Win7 start and run normally now?

Uninstall your old AV and install MS Security Essentials, update, run Full scan of all drives.

I'll check performance tomorrow after I run the list Karl gave me. During my rage on my computer I restored my bios settings back to default, so my CPU isn't overclocked anymore. . Reinstating that is my least concern right now.... But it'll happen soon . Should have my baby up and running fully by tomorrow night and I'll report back.

Once again thank you very very much for your help.

After a quick scan with maleware bytes It came back with nothing... Which I'm not sure if I should be happy about or worried it didn't find anything.

You're welcome, but please let us know:

Will Win7 start up normally now?

Can you overcome the activation error by reinstalling your Product Key.

This can also be caused by drive letter slippage in registry for which we have a fix.

do us a big favor and do not overclock until all problems are solved, then if you want to inflict fresh pain upon youself, so be it. As you might have guessed I'm not a fan of overclocking.
