I bought a new laptop:
Lenovo G560
-------------
Windows 7 ultimate x64
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 370 @ 2.40GHz
Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB
Graphics Intel(R) HD Graphics

IF you need more, tell and ill provide.

I know this laptop is not meant to run high-end intensive programs(mostly gaming and business).........BUT I think there should be no problem in running any simple flash game, pretty good memory for a not too expensive laptop, and a flash game? if I wanted to run high-end intensive games of nowadays like crysis and cod, I would buy a good laptop.
but this one is not for games and i know it.
but I don't understand why there are problems running flash games on the internet with this computer. For example Free Rider 2 - simple flash game - doesn't work smoothly. odd.

When on Battery, performance is even worse...

PLEASE HELP!!

TY!

2 gigs ram on 64bit is the absolute minimum, but I think the lagging/latency may be because of a driver. Please download and run this DPC Latency Checker

I will check latency...
WOW, I did not know 2GB for 64bit is the minimum...Does the windows 7 ultimate 64bit take all my memory? -when I open task manager it shows 1.37 in use, so I guess its the memory for the windows. but im not sure, it just doesnt make sense it takes that much...what is the maximum available memory on a 64bit?

How do I check for drivers?

How do I check for latest flash player?

Download Adobe Flash Player

also check and make sure there is not alot of bloatware running, type msconfig in the search bar and hit enter. go to startup tab and uncheck anything you dont need at startup/being careful you dont uncheck something needed to startup ;)

Ok 64 bit uses more resources than 32, and it preforms somewhat better. When win 7 starts it takes about 1/2 the memory (1 gig)and stores it for fast use (a good thing) the other.37 gig being used might be the video card shared memory etc.

Am I sure it is the memory causing the problem, No. Its a fiar bet but I suspect if this didnt happen since the beginning there is something else going on.

Mag memory on 64 bit win 7 is "I believe" 192 Gigs, not that any of us will ever knows.

Wait till win 8

You really should get 4 gigs, of ddr3 for anything running windows 7 64 bit. the price of ram has dropped sugnificantly in the last 6 months, id buy 2 sticks of 2 gig and replace it in your laptop, its not hard to do at all. Vista would have been fine running off 2 gigs, and doing that, but windows 7 is a little more demanding.

Okey, I'll see how i will upgrade my computer...you know, I have another desktop with winxp 2gbram and 2.20 ghz. here on laptop I have a better processor i3 and on my desktop i have dual core.
So I guess you are right and the problems is that I have windows 7 but actually because I dont have enough memory...

the flash games there are really smooth, although when it comes to java games, then its different. can you explain why?

Also, when I click ctrl+alt+del to lock computer and to start task manager, it always takes a few seconds like 5 -10 seconds, on the desktop i told you above it is immediately opened, again, the laptop is new, no extra programs installed so I assume the ram is my biggest problem, right? are you sure? because im going to spend money on upgrading it, so i have to be certain this is the right thing to do.

yes ctrl alt del if that takes a couple secs is the ram. I know someone who runs there vista off of 1 gig and everything is fine, but i think its 32 bit im not sure what they are running. Windows 7 just requires more.... im hoping you didnt pay more than 550$ for that computer...

flash requires less stress on your system, java uses more. from what i understand, i could be wrong... i wont try to act like i know what im talking about in that area, but id bet a few dollars java apps use alot more system recources than flash player does......

i know here at work i just ordered 2 gigs more ram for someone's 4 year old mac, the price dropped in half in the last 4 months, so you shouldnt have to pay more than 80$ for this upgrade. but he put windows 7 on his mac's and he can barely keep up with outlook 2010 and firfeox runnning at the same time

Try setting power management to 'high performance'. This greatly improves performance over the 'balanced' mode. ;)

Okey thank you very much!!!

What about the ddr2 or ddr3? I don't really understand these things yet...

Why are you hoping I didnt pay more than 550$? I paid 450$...Are you saying the computer isn't worth the money?

2GIGS for 80$? wow it is very cheap.
