Solved windows 7 - flash/java? unknown problem

on discovery. com storm tracker map (http://www.discovery.com/tv-shows/storm-chasers/games-and-more/storm-tracker.htm) you should see the storm chasers car "icons" on the map when it finishes loading. I have used it for years. but now I don't see the car icons. is this a java, or flash problem or some setting on windows7. it doesn't work in aol's browser or chrome either thanks

I see no car icons in IE11, only a (poor) weather map that "sticks" to my cursor. I have Flash installed, but no Java.

you can look at the bottom of map frame there should be icons.

I'm not sure if these symbols are what your referring to or not but yes you need flash/ not Java,

But the options show here are available via the top left Weather and Severe,
