Good Morning All! So I've spent the last week troubleshooting random BSOD's on my 2 month old HP Pavilion elite....I've replaced the original ATI video card with an Nvidia GT 240, uninstalled McAfee anti-virus and loaded AVG (which I've read on here also causes problems), ran the Windows memory checks on each stick of RAM individually, with no errors, and also ran extensive benchmarks as stress-tests, including super-pi to test the processor, and 3D mark vantage for the video card, all with no problems. However, if I attempt to run facebook apps, or Arma II, I will undoubtedly get a blue screen, either after 20 minutes or 20 seconds....I've experienced four this morning, and attached two of the details here:

Your AVG software is the cause
Remove it with the Removal Tool and use MSE instead

Code:
BugCheck 24, {c08a5, 0, 0, 0}

Unable to load image AVGIDSFilter.Sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for AVGIDSFilter.Sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for AVGIDSFilter.Sys
Probably caused by : Ntfs.sys ( Ntfs!NtfsPagingFileIo+155 )

So I followed your directions, used the tool to remove AVG and loaded MSE....problem was replicated in 10 minutes...I've run the diagnostics and reattached the latest results.

That AVG driver is still the cause

Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers, locate AVGIDSFilter.Sys and rename it to AVGIDSFilter.Sys.old, you may have to do this in safe mode if you cannot rename the driver

As NTFS.sys was also invloved I suggest to run disk check

Upload the most recent dump files only, all others are blaming the AVG driver which was probably removed while uninstalling AVG

The latest ones were caused either by an USB port or an USB device
Remove any unnecessary USD devices and update any Logitech devices(if any)

Code:
BugCheck 1000007E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff8800431b2a6, fffff880031858d8, fffff88003185140}

Probably caused by : usbhub.sys ( usbhub+142a6 )
