Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit update error 80073712

Hi, I have encountered an update error while updating my new pc and I would like to have a solution.

I downloaded the SURT and installed the hotfix, did the SFC scan as an administrator, tried to do a repair install and failed. The repair install itself cannot be accomplished.

Before I tried updating, I've installed Steam and Origin along with several games through them. I then installed Audacity sound editor and Nexus Mod Manager, a trusted program for modding games like Skyrim.

I've also installed Firefox, which froze my computer twice, leading to forced shut downs by power button which probably is the source of some levels of corruption.
