Thanks , may I ask how you found what kind of HHD it was I I would like to learn about these things to.

Did you not read what I had just told you earlier about googling the HD listing in the BIOS to see what the make and model is?

If a serial is given next to the HD's listing in BIOS you can sometimes google the serial to reveal the HD make and model, or at least the make which is what is needed to find the HD Diagnostic.

May I ask whose computers you work on there?

I may have missed reading what you told me earlier , but now I understand how to find the make and model number . Greg it's not my Computer, it's a clients . I know how to take care of my computers lol. Thanks for all the help , I appreciate it.
