I am using a brand new Toshiba U505 laptop with eSata port. I purchased a StarTech dual bay external case (SAT3520U2ER) which boasts that you can use 2TB drives x 2 for a total capacity of 4TB. The drives are a pair of Hitachi Deskstar 2TB 7200 RPM units. The supplied software GUI recognizes each drive as 2TB (4TB total), but Windows 7 does not.

I am trying to utilize this 4TB enclosure as one giant drive so I have set things to BIG mode to achieve 1 drive letter showing 4TB.
Windows 7 disk management shows the drive as only 2TB. I have already changed the partition type to GPT and still it shows 2TB.
What am I missing?
