Let Windows install the driver, do you have sound now?

If need be right click them both in turn and see if Windows will install drivers for them.

Yes use the disk.

YEAH okay so i'm gonna go on and add programs before starting this whole process but when i do i'm just gonna start at the beginning of our conversation and just through step by step and do it the exact same way, right?

yup, you suggested that its the best way to get space appropriate for the install.

Just take your time and create a single partition for the install then after you have it activated create the second partition.
