I have a problem installing the USB3_WIN7_2021 driver on a GA-B560M DS3H board with an I3-10100 cpu. That driver installed with no problem on an ASUS PRO H510M board with this same I3.
In both cases, I installed WIN7x64 from a DVD using a PS/2 mouse and the on-screen keyboard available at the close of installation.
The H510M WIN7's Device Manager allowed the driver update and the USB ports worked.
But, the B560m WIN7's Device Manager did not.
After KB2864202 was installed, the Device Manager device update walked me through a bunch of "browse...", "have disk...", etc., until I reached the USB3_WIN7_2021's .inf file. The driver started to load with a telltale running across the box. And, a message box with "Would you like to install this device software?" appeared. After checking the box labelled "Always trust software from 'Riolin Limited', clicking install immediately froze the telltale along with everything else. The only recourse was to hold the power switch off until the board powered down.
Any ideas?
