Windows 7 keeps preventing me from deleting things

Ok I am getting a bit sick of this. I have never had such dramas with vista OR xp.. yet windows 7 seems to be like a child lock on a pill bottle you just can't open.

I am recurrently having issues where itdoesn't let me delete files.
Files that are NOT 'read only' - files that are on C, D, E, F ANY drive whatsoever..

Could you give us one precise example of what you are encountering?

turn uac (user account control) off if you have a decent security program Also check properties/securities in file if you are deleting

Do you get warnings like:

Cannot delete file: Access is denied
There has been a sharing violation.
The source or destination file may be in use.
The file is in use by another program or user.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

And is this an occasional thing, or a very common thing? A Guy
