Hi, I have Windows 7 ultimate x64 on a SSD drive. For the last few days, the system just reverts what every I change on the system drive after restart. It just revert everything that I have change to the system drive, including the all the files I modify, delete, create; programs I install or uninstall; even the change I make to the system drive in safe mode. It just undo everything I have done to the system drive after restart.

I can not restore using system restore. It keeps giving me "volume shadow copy" error when I try to restore. Appreciate if anyone can help me. Thank you.

Please post back a screenshot of Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image.

You are saying that any changes made are reverted back each time you restart?

If you don't use Microsoft Security Essentials I would change to it to troubleshoot this problem. Uninstallers (removal tools) for common antivirus software - ESET Knowledgebase Then run a full MSE scan.

Run a full Malwarebytes scan, followed by SFC /SCANNOW Command to check the System Files. If some are damaged run SFC repeatedly until they are clean, up to 3 times.

If the OS isn't stable enough to do these, use the steps in Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start.

If these scans are all clean, continue with the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7
