Heya

I have a simple issue. I have just installed my windows 7 on laptop and I have 2 networks at home.

1 Lan for files
1 WIFI for internet.

Now if I want to get file for some reason he is using WIFI connection rather than Lan connection. How can I tell windows to use right connection for right thing?

Also for some reason my N router and laptop wiwi is running at only 54 mb... any hints how to get full 400 +?

Thanks, bye.

To my knowledge you can not have 2 functioning LAN connections at the same time. Whether 2 Ethernet or 1 Ethernet and 1 WiFi. The OS will only communicate over one connection at a time.

As to the Router set it into N mode and or N&G mode and have a N mode WiFi card in the notebook.

Heya

Thats a bummer ! I could swear I could run it in past this way. I got very fast lan files copy/move and I could access internet via wifi.
