Problem with LAN and LAN internet sharing.

The next thing to try is set the client pc with the IP addressing that i provided and go to your browser and type the following IP address in.

216.236.51.99

If this doesnt or does work then on your client pc goto your hosts file.

C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

open with notepad

below the 127.0.0.1 i want you to put 192.168.137.1
below the local hosts i want you to type the name of your HOSTpc

now try again.

For accessing you files on the HOST make sure they are enabled to share accordingly.

I tried.Didn't help.
I tried to put some public DNS like 4.2.2.2 or 8.8.8.8 in alternate DNS server and then internet start working.
But as always it stops in a couple of minutes, didn't work for about an hour, then again worked ten minutes...and so on and so on in circle...
Files are shared properly.
As i said with previous pc that public DNS saved me,but now nothing :(

The next thing i can advise you is to set the client pc to DHCP, Then switch off the client pc.

Goto your HOSTpc, Disable the ICS and then enable the ICS.

Goto your sharing settings in the HOSTpc and make sure they are all shared.

Then switch you client pc on and test connectivity.

Otherwise have a look here for some troubleshooting.

Using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing)

Remember that you will still have to use the 192.168.137.x IP addressing for win7.

Also consider getting one of these for simplicity.
