Windows 7: No Wireless Connection Available on Laptop - Drivers Missin

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire M5-583p-6324. I went from Windows 8.1 > Ubuntu 14.04 for class, needed it to do Fortran on, and now I decided to go back to Windows 7 in order to do Java on and play some games. However, as was the case on Ubuntu, my wireless isn't working, and I can't seem to find any drivers for Windows 7. Any help?

what do you mean? im pretty sure the wireless drivers should be broadcom...

Have you tried the Windows 8 Driver from the Acer Website ? Read the Link below it is a different Model Number but the same Version as yours Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver 6.30.59.104 ...

According to that Link i posted it does work .. Try it and see if not i will find you one tomorrow as its very late here and need lots of beauty sleep ..

Try this, Go to start button right-click "computer", click "manage". a window will popup. something like this
Click "device manager" in the left, when clicked right click the top thing with your computer name then click "scan for changes". It should detect your wireless adapter then download a driver(s).

I was able to install the Atheros driver but i still need the broadcom one. every driver i have tried says its not supported on win7

You can not need both ... Select the Network Adapter that has the missing Driver .. Right click and select Property's / Details and Post the Hardware ID please ....

Please read Post 12 and post the Information ... Did you try the Windows 8 Drivers ? Realtek LAN Driver ...
