Hi all, I have a Windows 7 iso with drivers already (nvme, usb, etc) which I've been using on my desktop for the past month with CSM. I'd like to use it on my Surface laptop, but as it is class 3 it has no option for CSM. The model in question is the Ryzen 5 3580U variant.
I believe I've set up the usb correctly, as fat32 and creating an EFI folder under boot with a renamed bootmgfw.efi as bootx64.efi. I've tried using uefiseven, which attempts to create the missing int10h call in unused section of memory - the verbose says it works successfully but the installer still hangs at the startup splash. Otherwise, installing with Win10 installer and booting in safe mode says it gets caught up at classpnp.sys.
I'm not sure what to do at this point - is anyone able to provide any advice? Thanks in advance!
