Another test if you don't mind might be easier than swapping out psu's for sure,
Take out 4gb's of ram and test
Then swap out the 4gb of ram with the other 4gb's and test :/
You can also if not already tried go to your bios and disable fast start up or speed stepping and see what happens ?
Also tried with the RAM and same story. Still not shutting down as it should. I even tried using another RAM stick I had laying around.
I also disabled Turbo boot in BIOS also didn't work.
I guess I should tried swapping the PSU see if that is the problem.
