Tweak VI is a no-no.

If you use Belarc Advisor it tells you your are using Windows XP (7000)

Use Epson DX9400F all-in-one, accepted the Scanner part but not the printer despite downloading updated printer driver.

I have setup a playlist in Media Player, but when I insert a DATA disk into my drive, Media Player stops playback and tries to open the disk.

Normal behaviours I understand when inserting a video DVD, but not a data disk...

No, 7 is based on the Vista kernel, not XP.

Belarc advisor sometimes has problems correctly identifying some software sometimes. It's not perfect. Also, it doesn't support 7 yet so, it get's confused.

icon cache for start menu programs is SLOW.

windows explorer doesn't immediately recognize virtual drives, might as well give me a pop up "reboot please"

a run time C++ library error occurs each time i try to open the control panel; only way i get it to open is leave the error pop up alone try again until it is open.

file and folder permissions are schizophrenic; sometimes i can download a file to a folder and rename, delete, move or execute it. sometimes i can't do any of the above while i haven't changed permissions in the meantime after giving myself full control over the whole drive. frustrating to have to wait until firefox downloads a file before i know if i really do have it.

can't view desktop when moving cursor over the right side of the taskbar but works if i am logged in as a different user(option anywhere?)

there been a few times i got my vista64 disk ready to get rid these problems. but i really do like the changes to the task bar and how i do not have to dig deep for a few other things, like changing resolution. i wish microsoft would have left explorer alone.

when downloading a file from the net sometimes before you click save there is already a save file on the folder of the same file your about to save but its blank actually and also you cant replace it due to permissions. you have to close save dialog box and do it over again to replace the other file.

Creative Audigy cards have a random buzz in any application. I've found no cure yet, but have found many people are experiencing this issue.

When you open multiple download windows, the new window doesn't focus on top, it stays hidden down in explorer pinned icon until you go and select it from the thumbnails or atl-tab to it.

sometimes while running IE8 and bringing up tabs for new windows sometimes windows pops up the error send it anyway thing even though it didnt errored.

sometimes after playing a game specifically COD:WAW, when you quit the game, the start button can be clicked but it gets inivisible aswell as the explorer then the systems hangs up and if you check event viewer theres no error that happened

i have a recurring ''snipping tool'' crash, i thought 7000 had solved it but it happened again 2 days ago.....

this problem has been with me since 6801, the app just fails to respond, or it responds but wont capture the image, its a random occurrence though i may not see it for weeks on end & then it will happen 4 times in one day...


that is the only issue i've had with W7000.....

I get the same thing with faststone capture sometimes too, it will work for ages and then it will fail to capture the screen, seems strange that 2 different programs suffer from the same problem.

Belarc tells me I'm using Vista Ultimate x64 (7000)

I have a problem with the snipping tool too. If I take a screenshot and save or I cancel saving the screenshot and the snipping tool closes, it won't open again for like a whole minute later. It only happens with the 64 bit version. I never had the problem with 32 bit 7000.
