Hi ,

I would like to know if there is any way that i can download the windows 7 default games - is there a service pack - or whatever ??

I have tried the turn windows features on and off - the windows features window is empty ??

I have tried the system file checker - all files are validated ??

Games and features do not seem to be included with this version or build of windows 7 ??

I have been to the MsWindows 7 web site - and have found the original games for windows 7 really nice detailed descriptions - but there is NO download link ??

I really do like the windows games as in win vista - but even the win xp games downloaded for 32 bit mode would be suitable

I do have the win vista games downloaded from another computer - but they do not run in 32 or 64 bit mode ?? ( Not installed - I guess )

Its a bit frustrating because I know that there is an answer some where !

Missing patches of what ever is left of Hair

I would think that even the Home version would have the Windows Games included... are you sure you just didn't forget to enable it or perhaps you even disable it by mistake while cleaning, compacting, etc, etc?

Have you gone to Control Panel/Programs & Features and on the left window column click on "Turn Windows features On or Off" and see whether "Games" is ticked or unticked there?

Welcome to the forum,

My Seven Pro SP1 does have games so it is not something about the version.

This is interesting,

I have tried the turn windows features on and off - the windows features window is empty ??

Can you post a screenshot of that window,

Here is a bit of reading on the matter, you may want to read it through before attempting anything,

Hello seven forms support :

Thank You for Your fast reply !!

My problem is fortunately - However frighteningly solved !!

After posting My message - I started thinking - it may be the software version that I bought - but something did not get installed properly - so I re inserted the installation disk - thinking there may be a repair program ?? there wasn't but there was an upgrade program - stating that it would not overwrite the current installation.

Well I did - and it didn't - and now I have My games - as advertised . I didn't think that Microsoft would intentionally leave out part of the operating system . It was a matter of getting it to install properly - and it did !

again thanks for Your reply - Now all the things that I have been reading AND that You told - Me make sense !!
