Windows 7 Pro - Changed video card now won't boot

Got Win 7 Pro OEM version and no CD.

Changed video card and now it won't boot. Tells me there are errors with windows.

Whats the best approach?

If you had AMD or Nvidia drivers installed before, what you should have done is removed them before you changed video cards.

If you had those drivers, I would reinsert the old video card and remove the old drivers, and reboot.

Once you reboot, Win7 will see the new card and is likely to install new drivers automatically. IF not, you can always install the drivers manually, yourself.

Ah. Problem is old card is no longer available. :-(

Do you have onboard video? If so remove gpu, set bios to onboard gpu, then remove the old drives and start fresh.

If you have access to a second computer, hook up your hard drive and add/delete driver files like that. Either boot using that hard drive on another computer or access it like you would with an extra drive. The former would be preferred as the latter takes a long, long time to get access to protected files on that hard drive...
