Flash drive failed so replaced with new flash drive, reloaded Windows onto it. The 1TB internal hard drive which has 3 partitions and all of my user data is not recognized by Windows. I can see it in the BIOS ( SATA1 ) and using the System Spec tool you provided ( see the pics ).

I have tried a number of things ( driver tools to find load a new driver ), hardware trouble shooter, disconnecting SATA cable and re-attaching -- NO success.

I am hoping and praying someone has a suggestion or two on how to fix this problem. thank you.

I assume your talking about disk 0 which is showing as blank have you tried it on another data port in case it's a faulty port failing that it will be lost partitions so you will need free partitions recovery software

Not sure what you mean by "linked" ? Original set up had Windows booting from the Flash drive ( C: ) and the 1TB drive ( D: ) was later partitioned ( U: and V: ) for user data .

I guess anything is possible but a failed flash drive and faulty data port occurring at the same time seems unlikely but I will try this.

Which free partitions recovery software would you recommend ?

Dynamic disk can be part of an array. You join two or more physical disks to be one logical disk, an example is RAID. But they have to work together. If you take one disk, the other won't work.

Don't think any software will recover a missing drive on an array.

The best free software is MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition 9.1 (new versions aren't so good)

Solved

After much research before executing anything I used DISKPART and IMPORT of the "foreign" drive and the partitions on the hard drive APPEARED !! It seems 2 of the partitions "merged" and use same drive letter and the 3rd partition was fully intact -- NO DATA LOSS that I can detect as of now. Thanks for trying to help !

Thank you for sharing the resolution. Some of the "out of the box" :-) problems are difficult to decipher online ( however much the user has explained) even by experts resulting in various suggestions, according to what they understood and misunderstood :-) . In these cases self-help is the best help. You did a good job at it.
