Why not just buy directly from the MS store so you know what you are getting?

You can use just the key. There will also be downloads available to DL the media as well.


To be honest, although you can use just the key ...
I would download the ISO and burn to disc and re-install just to be safe.

This way you know for 100% sure, the disc you are downloading and burning, as well as the key, are completely legit.


When it comes to any software, epecially Windows, you are better off buying directly from the orginal source.

Sad as it seems, if something looks to good to be true, it usually is.

£65 compared to the near £300 you would have paid for a genuine Windows 7 operating system should have set the alarm bells ringing.

If you deal with the Microsoft store, you'll pay more, but you'll have the consolation of knowing you can get support from Microsoft should you need it.

I'm always reminded of the time a friend of mine who responded to a newspaper advertisement that offered 96 cigarette lighters for a £10 note. He sent off his money with the order and received a box of Swan Vesta matches by return!

Strike a match and you can light a cigarette with it. To be fair, there were 97 matches in the box, so the advertiser wasn't telling lies - I wonder how many were sucked in by the scam?

Just be careful you don't get screwed again, because if you do it would have been cheaper to buy from the Microsoft store in the first place.

Simply, going directly to the source is the best way to be 100% certain is all.
