I went via the control panel way and via the usual right-click on desktop and personalize->display->adjust resolution.

The resolution is now on 1280 x 800 (recommended). I tried several resolutions, as instructed on several videos on YT and some on some threads here on 7forums. Still did not stop the flicker.

By 125% I meant under display->Calibrate color it gives you the option of choosing the size of the text (in my case) Smaller-100%, and Medium-125%. I tried 125% it did not stop the flickering, so I left it on the default one with is the smaller-100%.

Thanks for the help, will do ;)

If anyone else has any suggestions, please tell. This flickering is so annoying and it's getting on my nerves.
