Hi,

Im getting a bit sick of this annyoing thing.
When I'm downloading stuff the programs automaticly checks, repairs and extract the stuff I downloaded and while it does that every game/program I start opens on the core that does the checking/repairing/extracting.
Im getting sick about it.
Its setting programs to wrong cores in general too, cores that are too busy with other things like virusscanning or something.

Can I do something against this ?, I really don't wanna set every program manually too a core

Are you saying that when your system is under a load, you'll see the task manager graph for one core be at 100% and the others are sitting idle?

No not fully 100% but one of the cores often then is sitting between 40%-90% jumping up and down and others are, well, not doing much...

I'll dig around but unfortunately I think you are stuck with manually setting the core

Other than setting each particular program to a core, I'm not sure there's much else you can do. Load balancing amongst cores has more to do with effectively programming the software to utilize them.

I agree with FliGi7, and wouldn't recommend messing with core assignments, etc. What are the processes/apps that are using up the most CPU time?

Well thats different, if I'm downloading its mainly GrabIt but whatever proces takes up a good amount of the core slows down the whole system.

Can't you in the task manager low the process for that App? The settings should "High", "Normal" and "Low" + some intermediate. Choose whatever suits you the best.

I can do that but then it will take a very long time for things like repairing too be ready, I just want it to automaticly set it on a core thats not busy.
